oh, i just checked my database, and it is NOT creating two posts in there, but two show up on the blog

i do have a sideblog plugin, but i am not going to be using it for the new theme, so you think if i deactivate the plugin it would stop doing that?

no, it’s phpmyadmin.

the database name is the same as what i put in the wp-config file. i have been looking at this for hours and i cannot see a problem anywhere. i even deleted the database and then made a new one again!!

i tried emailing those people to get them to install it for me, but i have gotten so far, and i have done this before nad not run into any problems. can any of you log in to my server somewhere and try to see the problem in my files??

i just needed to change that wp-config. file.
if i ftp the files as they are now to my server will it make a difference if they are all saved as php files, or is that the way it is supposed to be anyway?
