Hello I am writing again to submit request for Marketpress Lite developers to add a code to make the option of a discount code to be applied to whole orders instead of single products, as is currently the only option. As stated above, a whole order discount option is standard on most e-commerce sites out there. This request is coming from a devoted 5+ year user of your e-commerce platform that is my favorite and preferred e-commerce plugin, we are running it on over 7 sites and growing, and recommending to other new startup e-commerce site users. This would make a convenient addition to what is otherwise a perfect, lite e-commerce plugin. Thank you in return!

What makes Marketpress Lite so excellent is it is simple while providing most all desired needs of an e-commerce platform. A discount code applied to whole orders is standard on just about every e-commerce site out there, almost always e-commerce sites supply coupon codes for whole orders rather than single products; it would be very worthwhile for the developers to quickly craft a code for adding this option. Please forward my user request to the developers to expedite this for one of their very avid users of the Marketpress Lite e-commerce platform. Thank you in return.

Hello. We had hosting issue and had to fresh upload our original site running marketpress lite on the twenty eleven theme since the last issue. With new wordpress updates and no more child theme our sidebar has disappeared again on the product category pages. Here is an example product category page without sidebar: https://www.bottlegourdherbs.com/marketplace/products/category/loose-herbal-teas/ The above solution from last update no longer corrects this issue – will another CSS do the trick? Hello we are writing again because a customer reported that the problem is still occurring. We did not see this problem happening for months now, but apparently it is still happening. It happens randomly, it can last a few minutes. This is a very severe problem because we have over 5 sites built using wordpress from our website hoster cpanel, all using marketpress lite ecommerce plugin, and these sites are e-businesses for multiple people as their source of income and livelihood that is being compromised because of a program error. We are not developers, we need one-on-one assistance to run DEBUG because as you see above it caused problem for us when we run based on the link instructions. Please advise…. ??

Hello.

I started by adding an “index.html” file to the public_html for one of my sites to run the debug on, so that the site did not run live. Then I followed the instructions on the link, adding the debug, log and display codes to the wp-config file. No log file appeared in my wp-content folder. I stopped the debug by removing the log and display codes and returning debug to false. Then I removed the index.html file to make my site live again. It resulted in my site’s theme layout information getting overrided and now it is not appearing properly. Here is the site: https://www.teapotherbalist.com and it is running the Matheson theme, but as you can see it is somehow overriding the layout info and making everything full width, which isn’t even a theme option. My hosting tech support said he cannot see what might have caused this so instructed to ask you – help please!!

Hi @wpmu DEV. Indeed the problem is corrected when uploading to previous version 2.1.3. I will keep it on this install for the sake of the site appearance.

Yes the problem is it is the free version of what is also offered as a premium theme so updates do not have much of a priority. I and other users have contacted the developer on the matter but no update yet. That is why it was great to get the code trick you provided. And I’m very unsure why in the last Marketpress update the code no longer serves its function since the theme itself is the same version. Thank you again.

Hello. After my update to Marketpress Lite newest version & WordPress update, i notice my “featured image replacing header image” problem came back even with the custom html in the functions.php still there. My theme has not updated though. Here’s one of my category pages for you to see the problem. Help soon would be very appreciated!!
