I saw that the other thread about this issue (here) has already been closed, but the problem still exists.

You see, for me, even if the replty-to-comment box will appear directly below the original comment, changing the header text is still necessary. I have a food blog where the heading for the normal comment box says “Post a Review”, because presumably, I expect my readers to voice out their own thoughts about the restaurants I’ve reviewed myself. But when someone replies to an existing comment, “Post a Review” does not sound right anymore, does it?

Right, install.php won’t work when WP has already been installed. However — and I’ve seen this happen several times before — when the WP database gets corrupted and it then thinks WP isn’t yet installed, going to the URL of the blog will cause WP to install itself again. This causes some minor annoyances, such as a new post saying “hello world” and a new about page with the generic content in it, and let’s not forget the WP links in the blogroll.

So the question is, if install.php is removed, will there be any negative effects?

Unfortunately, the fix was not included in 2.8.2. ?? After upgrading, I got the error again! Now I have to apply the fix once more…

That’s exactly what I did, esmi — uploaded an image via Admin/Media/Add New. Like Caracco, I also want to have an image appear on a post, but not have this particular image appear in the gallery grid on the post.

But, when I inserted the image in question to the post (from Media Library), it was automatically associated with the in-post gallery, and appeared in the post’s gallery grid. When I checked the post’s gallery, this image was indeed in the gallery.

Elpie, thanks very much! Manual upgrading seems to work for me. No more of this error.

I wonder if the theme has something to do with this. I use WooThemes on all my blogs. Can’t figure it out yet though…

I believe this will take some code revision. Hopefully a future update to this awesome plugin will take care of this. I, too, would like to have the option of not allowing the display of the Sociable icons on posts of a particular category.
