Hi @laheysc
Hope everything is going well. You can easily open the link created by BetterLinks in a new tab by using the link option. After selecting the text, use BetterLinks option to insert the links & then click the link option and toggle the “Open in new tab” setting.
I’ve created a demonstration to guide you through it: https://d.pr/v/QnFm49.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes, and feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance.
Best regards,
PialHi @clayray
I just wanted to check in regarding the concerns you raised about the PDF embedding options being too basic. The latest updates now offer more flexibility, including the ability to adjust the width and height using percentage values or pixels. If you haven’t had a chance to test these new options, I’d love to hear if they address your issue or if you need further assistance.
Feel free to reach out with any additional questions!
Best regards,
Hi @ivandancon
I wanted to follow up regarding the concern you had about Gutenberg templates not showing up. If you haven’t done so already, you can try switching between platforms by using the dropdown at the top of the template page. Once Gutenberg is selected, the corresponding templates should be visible.
Please let me know if you run into any issues while trying this or if the templates still don’t appear. I’m happy to assist you further with troubleshooting this.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,

Hello again @jaroslawistok
Thanks for the update! I’m sorry for what you’re experiencing, and I appreciate your patience. To help troubleshoot the issue further, I’d recommend performing a plugin conflict test. Because the migration should’ve appeared on the dashboard .
Here’s how you can do the plugin conflict test:- Disable all other plugins, except for Pretty Links and BetterLinks.
- Once those are the only two active plugins, check if the migration option becomes available on your dashboard and see if you can proceed with the import.
This will help us identify if another plugin is causing the conflict. Also please let me know how many links you currently have in Pretty Links.
Regarding the search issue you mentioned—searching with a keyword (like the site name from Pretty Links) not working—could you provide more details? Specifically, are you trying to search for links created by Pretty Links using specific keywords, and they aren’t showing in the results?
If you could share a screencast of the behavior of the Dashboard after the Plugin Conflict, it might help us to understand better.
Looking forward to hearing the results of the test and resolving this for you!
Hi there @jaroslawistok
I’m really sorry for the inconvenience you’ve experienced. However, I’d like to clarify that our BetterLinks plugin has a built-in migration system, which is completely available in the free version. You don’t need a file to run the migration from Pretty Links. While we do offer an import/export feature for advanced use, if you’re already using Pretty Links, you can easily migrate all of your links without any cost, it has always been completely free.
I’ve created a video demonstration to help guide you through the process: https://d.pr/v/QeVzzS
Please check your dashboard —you should see an option for migration from Pretty Links like the video which I have given above. If you’re still having any issues, we’d love to investigate further. If you could share a screenshot, screencast video, or any other reference, we can assist you in resolving the problem properly.
Thanks for your understanding, and we’re here to help!
We are really looking forward to hearing from youBest regards,

I’m really sorry for the trouble you’re experiencing with the shortcode display. Could you please confirm if you used the shortcode within the EA Advanced Tab widget? If so, we have a possible fix for you.
Please download and install the Dev version of the plugin using this link: https://d.pr/f/CvexIb.
After updating to the Dev version, kindly regenerate the assets to ensure everything works properly. To do this:
- Go to your WordPress dashboard (wp-admin).

- Click the ‘Regenerate Assets’ button.

Hello again @niharikaverma95
Thank you for the update, and I’m glad to hear that removing the dark mode plugin resolved the initial conflict!
As for the new issue with links and categories not showing up in the BetterLinks dashboard, you can continue to Support Thread and I’ll be happy to assist you. Could you provide a bit more information?
- Are the links you’re manually creating not appearing, or are previously created links also missing?
- Have you checked the console log for any errors?
- If possible, please share your Site Health Info as well as a screen recording of the issue so we can investigate further.
Once I have this information, we’ll look into it right away.

PialHello there @niharikaverma95
Sorry to hear you’re facing this issue!
To help us better troubleshoot, could you please provide some additional details?
- Did you remove the plugin and delete the related database tables?
- Have you tested for any plugin conflicts?
- Are the links you manually created not showing up in the dashboard, or is this happening with previously created links as well?
If possible, sharing a video of the issue would be really helpful. Additionally, could you share your Site Health Info? This includes important details about your WordPress setup, active plugins, themes, and server environment, which will assist us in identifying any conflicts or issues.
You can find it by navigating to:
Tools > Site Health > Info > Copy site info to clipboard.
Lastly, On the BetterLinks Dashboard please open your browser’s Console Log (right-click on the page, select “Inspect,” then go to the “Console” tab), and share any errors you see there. This will help us diagnose any issues that might be causing the problem.Looking forward to hearing from you
