In reply to: [MesoColumn] How do the MesaColumn options workHi Richie,
All installed, using it, but I can’t work out how to use the HomePage1 through HomePage10 options. Are they designed to be boxes on a static front page within the left hand area, or only to be used in the widget area on the right?
Separately, the sample page layout (which looks gorgeous btw) has two articles with medium images at the top, and four articles underneath with thumbnail size pictures. I’m trying to work out if that is a static front page, or a posts page? And whichever it is, which widget layout was used to produce it. Any ideas?
It is a beautiful theme…

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact Form Appears As A PostStill no answer from the suppliers in over a week, getting very embarrassing now – holding up me invoicing for client work done. If no answer soon, I’ll ask for a refund.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact Form Appears As A PostSame issue I have, with the Booking System Pro posting stuff into my Blog Roll. I was told of a fix (comment out line 36 in a piece of the Booking Systems php code), but said line 36 is the closing brace of 4 lines of JavaScript. Asked for confirmation – none forthcoming. Asked for admin details, provided but not yet used in a week.
Getting very frustrated. It’s the last thing stopping me invoicing a customer for all their Dev work ??
Fixed by disabling the Booking System Add-in. They have a one line PHP fix to stop random pages being inserted into the blog roll by their add-in. So, fixed. Thank you.
It’s a bug with the Booking System Pro Plugin. Disable it, and everything works as advertised – in my case anyway. There is apparently a one line of PHP fix to make it work, but just waiting for the handshake back to have it finally resolved.
I’ll report the fix back as soon as it’s confirmed.

In reply to: [Milestone] Conflict with Google Analytics PluginBug still seems to be there. Any plans to fix the issue cited so that the plugin works with MU sites?
Also, the page on the client site where this is appearing is:
https://www.loddonlodge.com/news
The /news area is mapped from https://www.software-enabled.com/loddon8223/news and is the main blog roll.
For what’s it’s worth, i’m running WP 3.7.1 and Events 3.3.1
Add-ins List:
Booking System Pro 1.9
Disable Title 0.9
Easy Table 1.4
Google Analytics 2.1.1
Google Maps 2.7.1
JetPack 2.6.1 (2.7 awaiting update)
Milestone 1.0
Multisite Content Copier 1.0.4
New Blog Contents 2.2.4 (2.5 awaiting update)
Responsive Addons 1.0.4 (1.0.5 awaiting update)
Rotating Tweets 1.6.5 (1.6.7 awaiting update)
The Events Calendar 1.3.1
UK Cookie Consent 1.7 (1.7.1 awaiting update)
User Activation Keys 3.5.1
Wordpress MU Domain Mapping 0.5.4.3
WPMU Dev Dashboard 3.4.1I have the same issue – using Cyberchimps iRibbon as my main theme. All events added appear in the main blog loop, even though I don’t have the check box to force this ticked. Not sure where to look; the events aren’t listed as posts, but appear in the main blog loop somehow.
Any guidance on where I can look to isolate the root cause would be appreciated.

In reply to: TwentyTwelve: Putting Post Date only under Post Title?Seems to just be a problem on Chrome on my Chromebook; there is an inexplicable width restriction to 117 pixels wide on the date text. Hence i’ve elected to leave the date in the content footer where twentytwelve was designed to accommodate it.
Without the absolute position, the default “This entry was posted in uncategorized on DD-MMM-YYYY by Author.” along with the .entry meta with visibility hidden and .entry-date visible is just leaving the date camped around 2/3 across the width of the panel; I guess as the space is still reserved for the preceding text fields even if not used.
I’m not yet clever enough with CSS to tell the .entry-date to be forced to the left margin, or even better to center in the column, despite the other hidden fields sitting in that space. If anyone can give me a pointer, it would be greatly appreciated.

In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] More Info Page MissingThe case I had was networking activating the widget, then trying to install the first instance in one of the subsites (before I’d even done one in the root site in my network). The message appeared on the subsite okay, but the associated page got created only in the root site.
I’ll be preloading this page in every subsite instance, so no worries. I trust it won’t create the cookie policy page if one is already there under the cited name.

In reply to: [Termly - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent Banner] More Info Page MissingThat’s the one I put in by hand. I installed the plugin in the /ld1 subsite on my network, and the cookie policy page was generated on my root site only. So, I just created a cookie-policy page and copied the text across.
As folks tailor their own sub sites, I wonder if the cookie control widget invoked in their dashboard will overwrite what I’ve got in the root site. Yet to see what happens.
Very good widget by the way. I am tailoring the text to meet the needs to comply with Doubleclick guidelines, so I can use some of the demographics pieces in Google Analytics. Happy to contribute that back later (when I’ve written it) if it helps.
Resolved – but by removing this Dashboard on my site network. However, I trust the above may help isolate a bug if that’s what it was…
