ok I seem to have found a work around, for those who may havehad the same problem, downloaded wordpress 3.8.2, uploaded all the files from the zip file except, the content folder…..

so far all is working

I am having the same issue on two of my sites after i upgraded to wp. 3.8.2, have tried all the “bug fixes” still my problem persists????
