In reply to: [Email Users] Email Users plug-in reporting some valid addresses as invalid.OK – so a quick update, for those of you that care – or had the same error.
I had migrated my site, and had exported and then imported all users to the new site.
Although the addresses were, in fact, all valid, I had to individually go in and just re-update the user. Not even their address – just open their user options page and hit update at the bottom – poof – all addresses worked. Must have been something funky in the database. Hope this helps!

I’d love to, but I don’t think folks would appreciate having their addresses posted here! get me at twitter – @mark_marshall, and we can DM on it?

In reply to: Cannot update Plug-ins, Akismet connectivity both problemshandhugs – I disagree. I have been in touch with the top hosting tier there, as well as folks from corporate. The story, as best as I can tell, is that Akismet is blocking Netsol servers. I run hosting packages at both Netsol and others, and the problem so far is limited to Netsol servers. They are working to fix it. (I do NOT work for netsol.)
I have gotten lots of response from Netsol on this, both in chat and email – I have written to Akismet – no response at all. (And if they’re looking here – write me! [email protected] )
