In reply to: Appearance > editor broken.Hey Marius.
I completely understand. But when you’re responsible for upwards of 60 different sites, each with their own sets of plugins/themes, you’re talking about not only hours and hours of work, but potential interruptions of service for those sites as well. So the safeguards, while well-meaning, don’t end up being simple at all.

In reply to: [WP-SpamShield] security alertI just wanted to chime in to agree with others here – while I understand why you feel it necessary to post this alert… I don’t use WPSS for security. I use it to prevent spam, period. So, at the very least, it’d be awesome if you offered the option to suppress these messages across the board.
I too, have a whole bunch of alarmed folks who, just over the past 24 hours, are getting this message despite just having upgraded to the latest version of WP.
And thanks for a great plugin!Hi Gabriel-
Thanks for responding.
My ticket wasn’t deleted – its still sitting there, unassigned.
And I wasn’t asking for custom work – I posted under built-in hooks asking if there was a workaround for sites that might be using ajax. A simple yes or no, or a pointer to somewhere would have helped – especially because I paid to have the ticket escalated.
Thanks.
Amen. Me too.

In reply to: [SAM Pro (Free Edition)] Ads not fully randomizingMaybe we can try this a different way, because I’m still not understanding.
I have 12 ad spaces I want to fill on the sidebar, randomly, without repeating. And we have more than 12 ads total.
So how would you go about this? I mean like step A, B, C?
Thanks!

In reply to: [SAM Pro (Free Edition)] Ads not fully randomizingI’m sorry – I’m really not trying to be difficult. But I don’t understand.
We have an ad block – Size: 12 x 1. Are you saying that we manually assign an ad to each of those items in the block? And if so, what happens to the other ads besides the 12 we selected?
The way we have it now, we have an ad place with all the ads in it, and that’s what we’re placing in each item in the block.

In reply to: [SAM Pro (Free Edition)] Ads not fully randomizingWe are not using a place object – we’re using a block. Look:

In reply to: [SAM Pro (Free Edition)] Ads not fully randomizingUnfortunately, I was wrong.
The ads are still not random – they’re still showing up in groups, even though we’ve told the block to randomize. We’re running WP-supercache, and are using the .js option to work with it. Any other thoughts?

In reply to: [SAM Pro (Free Edition)] Ads not fully randomizingUpdate: Fixed.
Deactivated the free version first, then manually activated the Lite version. BAM! Works, and ads appear to be random!
Thanks!

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

In reply to: [SAM Pro (Free Edition)] Ads not fully randomizingI’m not sure what you mean.
We’re running a single Sam Pro Block in a widget, which has 12 items.
You can see it on the right here:
