Well, Bob finally woke up. Initially, I tried Feed Disabler … which has no configurations to speak of (v0.5). The went to CYC – Customize Your Community. This has the controls to turn off the Send Trackbacks and Allow T/P … for user accounts. That is, it took a little while for my eyeball-brain coordination to kick in, and realize that all the User tests I was doing, while logged in with the Admin account, would OF COURSE show me these options. When logged in as any user the options are not visible, as configured w/CYC. DORK!

Likewise, I’m interested in customizing what is seen/available on the Edit Posts page for non-Admins. Specifically, want to remove the Send Trackbacks section, and under Discussion section remove “Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this post”.

Looked around in some of the PHP files, but haven’t found “the spot” (I’m not a programmer, but usually successful using the “whack and see” method of making changes ;-).

Appreciate any tips.
