All polylang modification url methods are supported except the “content” method , so you should have no problem with that I think.

in WooCommerce options, there should be cart and checkout pages set to my main language pages?

Not necessary the main language , the plugin will handle this option correctly for you , you do not need to worry about it this .

Redirecting to woocommerce page with wrong language , most of times means that you have not translated the woocommerce pages correctly (shop.cart,myaccount,..).

So please make sure these pages are translated correctly.

If the issue persists, make sure to deactivate all plugins excepts for this one and (woocommerce , polylang) , to make sure it is not plugin conflicts issue , some plugins which its job is to change the wp dashboard language might cause such issues.

@mury74 you are totally correct the plugin sync the stock for product and its translation when a purchase is made in any of defined languages .

@alitscha Hyyan WooCommerce Polylang Integration plugin must be installed before start adding languages in polylang , the new version of this plugin will include a tool to download woo translation even when polylang languages are already added.

No need to apologize , it is not known issue literally , but you can considered as behavior.

@alitscha Not sure , I need a link to look at to see what is going on or you can reproduce the issue be creating the test website using qsandbox.com so I can look at it to see what is going on.

By the way , you don’t have to upload the translations files by your own the plugin will download the translations for you when you add new language in polylang.

@alitscha This is strange the the same shortcode is used for the woo page in any language and the plugin will handle the translation correctly for you, Do you have a link I can look at it?

1. using polylang “Detect browser language” option cause browser cache issues make sure to disable the option when you are developing
2. the polylang option “The language is set from content” is not supported yet , you have to use another method from the methods polylang already provides

@alitscha what I mean in “You need to translate woocommerce pages by yourself” is that you have to go to pages in wp admin and translate the following pages (Cart,Shop,My Account,Checkout) using polylang with the same content(woocommerce shortcode) for all used languages but probably with different slugs and titles . from your theme you don’t have to do anything or duplicated template for each lanaguge.

you asked me “What do you mean by “Make sure to setup your woocommerce permalinks correctly”?”

The plugin used to cause issues when woocommerce default permalinks are used , that is not an issue anymore since the version 0.19 of this plugin

@ankur Prem As I expected , it is plugin conflicts , you have two plugins which are missing things up

1 – R3DF – Dashboard Language Switcher
The plugin will set the admin interface language according to the user choise , I am not really sure why you need this plugin , wordpress allows you to install new admin langauges and polylang allows you to change the admin language from user profile by default , but I would like to recommend a replacement for this plugin if you are interested which is wp-native-dashboard.

2 – Simple Custom CSS

To be honest I don’t know what is this plugin is doing to mess things up but it conflicts with polylang itself.

I left the two plugins disabled for now , to make sure the problem is solved
