Hey Patrick,
Great quick fix you did here. Just a question though. When switching back to Google maps by de-activating your plugin; the front-end event submission page gets completely cut off after “Where” and you can’t submit the event.
How do you troubleshoot this?
Hi, yes I have google maps enabled and properly set up the API from the google console end. As I mentioned. When I create an event using wp-admin panel the maps appear fine.
However, only on the front-end for when I create events; the google maps API which is called while you type in the address displays an error message saying: “This page can’t load Google maps properly”
I am not using a Divi theme. Any ideas?
Interesting, do you know where this additional api call takes place in EM?
Also, thank you for all your help. Hope to see the new version soon!
Also, I’ve noticed that when creating an event on front-end event submission form. Once the address and location details are put in and event published; the actual event page says coordinates unavailable.
I cannot for the life of me seem to find what is wrong.
From Google API side, there are no errors. Maps display perfectly when events are created from admin panel. Only does not work on front-end event submission page.
Same problem exists with all themes that I’ve tried (including twentynineteen etc.)
Any ideas what else to try?
I updated it to version 1.5.1, but on the front-end user event submission form; when I type in the address or previously created location there is still no map
Sure, have a look: https://www.hp-md.com
Login with Username: test Password: test
And if you click For Hosts and then add event, normally when you type in the address of location you can see the map generated on the right hand side. However nothing is being displayed currently.
