Ok, there`s one way in which the thing works. On mac, when asked ( kill pages / wait ) just click wait and eventually the slider will load. On Pc simply click on the slide you want to open and wait, and wait and wait for a few minutes and it will also load the slide you want to update. Do not know anything about code or anything so I do not know really why this is working this way. I can nor reinstall the slider or update the Word Press Version since I am running an art gallery website and cannot afford to shut down any feature until August when we close. A pain.
