The update to 2.0.11 fixed this issue and everything is working perfectly now!

I will be very happy to test it!

OK thanks. I’ll check and see if the forthcoming update (I assume it will be v2.0.11) resolves the issue and let you know.

I restored a version of the site from before I did the update to Easy Modal and the modals are working again, except I’m back to the original problem that started this thread – I cannot save any changes to the Theme.

I am now running Easy Modal v2.0.8 on WordPress 3.9.2.

To restate the issue, I cannot save any changes to the Theme using v2.0.8. For all tabs, the menus let me make changes, but when I hit the Save button, it reverts instantly back to the default settings.

I checked the Pages containing Modals again (while running Easy Modal v2.0.8) and, at the bottom of the content page, there is a section called “Easy Modal”, but there is no information in the section. The only words I see are “Easy Modal”. There is no other text, no settings, no checkboxes, no list of Modals on the page – nothing at all except an empty section called “Easy Modal”.

If I update to v2.0.10, I can make changes to the theme, but (as noted above) the modals stop working altogether – there are no Popups.

So the site is working again but not working very well. Since I cannot style the Modals Theme, they don’t look good. I still need to find a solution.

If I have to, I can rebuild all the Modals – perhaps that will be the only solution. (Deactivate, uninstall, reinstall, rebuild from scratch.) But I am hoping to avoid that.

    I appreciate all your help!

I’m not seeing any button called “Approve” or “Confirm Your Settings” or anything like that anywhere in the Easy Modal control panels.

On the content page, there is a section called “Easy Modal” at the bottom of the page, but there is no information in the section. The only words I see are “Easy Modal”. There is no other text, no settings, no checkboxes, no list of Modals on the page – nothing at all except a section called “Easy Modal”.

Maybe the database is corrupted somehow. ?

    Thanks again for your help!

Hmmm… I changed the “Schedule A Demo” to just link to the Contact page yesterday since the modals we’re working. This is the code I replaced with the simple redirect:

    <p style=”text-align: right;”><button class=”eModal-3″>SCHEDULE A DEMO</button></p>

Where are you seeing modal 12?

If you look at this page: https://thinktank.net/case-studies/

You’ll see the problem I am seeing. All of the case studies on this page point to different modals. But none of them work – there is no popup at all.

I don’t think the gravity form or modal IDs got messed up. When I check the code on the page, it’s still correct, and the modals look correct as well.

What about this “Approve” button you mentioned in the thread above? I do not see that anywhere on the Settings page (after doing the reset and reload processes.) ?

    Thanks for your help!

Should I perhaps uninstall, reinstall, and then rebuild all my Modals? (I hope not, since this will be a lot of tedious work, but it is possible to do.)

    (@hughrheinsohn)

OK – I did that and now I can alter and save the Theme settings!

I am NOT seeing any sort of “Approve” button on the Settings page. Should I be seeing that?

However, there is another, more serious problem. Now none of the Modals work.

I have deactivated and re-activated the plugin with no results.

I have purged all caches (we are hosted by WPEngine) with no results.

I can’t see anything different about the configuration of Easy Modal between the Staging Server (where it works perfectly, running version 1.3.0.3 of the plugin) and the live server (where it is not functioning at all since I did the reset and reimport using version 2.0.10.)

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks for your help!

I did the update. I am now running v2.0.10 on WordPress 3.9.2.

Unfortunately, the problem is not resolved. I still cannot save ANY changes (fonts, colors, etc) to the Theme. I can make changes, but when I hit SAVE, the system reverts to defaults.

Any ideas? Easy Modals is perfect for my application – simple and easy to use and it has the functionality I need. I’d really rather not switch, but I must be able to make simple changes to the Theme.

    Thanks for your help!

You use this tag to position the success anchor:

He has a post about this in his documentation:

Works great for me – hope it works for you as well!
