Hi Daan,
Thanks for the prompt update! Everything seems to be working now. Thanks again!
Thanks for the reply Stef!
My production site is https://get-green-now.com/
The testing site is https://test.hughjiang.com/
The testing site is password protected with password b4eP?]xAw_ (right now it’s just a copy of the original site so I don’t mind sharing).
For now, I’ve disabled jetpack stats on both sites. Let me know if it has to be enabled for troubleshooting.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Critical CSS not generatingUpdate: Was able to get this solved by removing where I had entered my origin server IP under General > Server IP. I know the origin server IP that I entered was correct so maybe it had something to do with using Cloudflare or the server being a shared server and my website wasn’t able to receive the Critical CSS files when litespeed’s remote server sent them back. Not sure, but that seems to be what fixed it for me

@kingyes I’m not sure what you mean (sorry for the late reply). Anyways, is there any way to just get elementor to override everything? Like is there any way to add !important to everything? Thanks
Um… how long did you wait for it to save?
Thanks for the suggestions and tips! I am using a child theme, so the original theme files are safe. I’ll keep in mind what you’ve said, thanks very much.
@pinggram3541 Thanks! I checked the css and found that my theme set defaults for the icon colors. I changed it and the problem is fixed!
My theme also set defaults for everything else as well, so now I have to go and change the defaults in order for the elementor typography section to work. grr.
Anyways, thanks for your help!
If anyone else has this problem, here is what I did. Inspect the icon that isn’t working properly. Find the CSS file that is overriding the colour. Then, go to the CSS file and find the code that is overriding elementor (use Control+F and search for the class.) Then, just get rid of the “colour: #hexhex;” thing, or change the hex code into whatever colour you want. Hope this helps anyone else with this problem!
I even tried adding one of elementor’s pre-made templates (which has a white button icon). When I add the template that button turns gray. Very strange
I tried changing the color of the global fonts but the icon is still grey.
Screenshot is here: https://imgur.com/a/Q24uw
I also have another site with elementor, and it has grey in global font settings but the buttons still change color according to the text of the button. So I don’t think the global font setting is the problem.
Alright I’ll check
The icon colours are still grey. I’ve cleared the cache and everything else on the page is working. But the button icons are still grey.
I don’t think that is that is the problem… I changed the colour of the text and the colour of the background and messed around with all the settings, but its still grey. I’ll try again, and if it does change, I’ll come back and make this resolved.
Nevermind, Its working now. I guess the plugin installer updates slower than the rest of the site? Don’t know, but the problem’s solved.
