I posted the problem with MailPoet as you recommended and this is what they sent back. Please provide me any suggestions you may have:

I understand you’re still having trouble sending emails with attachments via Contact Form 7 after switching MailPoet’s settings to use the default WordPress sending method. To clarify, MailPoet doesn’t support Contact Form 7 directly, and when you change the settings to the default WordPress sending method, MailPoet is no longer involved in the email sending process.

Since the attachment is still not sending through Contact Form 7, the issue is likely unrelated to MailPoet. It could be related to Contact Form 7 or other factors within your WordPress setup. To troubleshoot, I suggest performing a conflict test by deactivating MailPoet and other plugins temporarily and trying to send an email with an attachment again. This will help determine if there are any other plugins or settings affecting the process.

If the issue persists, it might be best to check with the Contact Form 7 support team for further assistance.

I changed the mailpoet settings to send all sites emails to “The default WordPress sending method” and then I sent a Contact Form 7 email submission with an attachment, and it just continued to buffer for over 5 minutes before I cancelled. To ensure Contact from 7 was working correctly I ran it without sending an attachment and the email was sent appropriately.

Please provide any other suggestions, I really need to get this working for my clients

I really cannot remember how I was set up as an administrator 7 years ago. Is there a way I can tell? However, I did set up all of eight (8) of my Contributor, Subscribers and Author, Subscribers with User Role Editor and all are considered Subscribers in Mailpoet and are able to be included in the specified mailing lists. User Role Editor was one of my original plugins that I used for my websites. I started using Mailpoet about two years ago. I do have a separate email address that I am registered as a Contributor (only) and it allows me to be subscribed and included on the appropriate mailing lists. Bottom Line it seems to work with all roles except Administrator, I also tried it with Administrator, Subscriber and it still did not work. I really do believe that the issue is with Mailpoet based on all of my research and debugging any help you can provide is sincerely appreciated. My clients love Mailpoet.

First I really appreciate your fast response and attention I changed the theme and deactivated all plugins and received attachment appropriately. I then restored plug ins one at a time and found the problem to be with the Mail Poet and Contact Form 7. Due to the fact that both Contact Form 7 and Mailpoet are both important to my website I will also create a separate problem ticket notifying Mail Poet of the compatibility issue. Thanks again for your help!
