Okay, this is strange. The edits are appearing on the live site again without me pressing the Publish button.

This appears to have resolved itself as of sometime yesterday. Do you know what could have been the issue?

Is this a fresh WordPress install? When you install WP, it does direct the admin to log in. Maybe that’s the issue.

Do you have some type of setting that requires all users to log in, or maybe you have the main page set to one that requires users to be logged in?

Please delete. I didn’t notice the edit button for my original post.

Access the Customizer by going to your Dashboard, clicking Appearance, and clicking Customize.

    Under Post Types, click Categories
Click the arrow next to Page Title
In Elements, click the arrow next to Title
For Category Label, click the toggle button

Tip: When you’re using the Customizer, if you hover over the section that you want to modify, you’ll see an Edit button. Clicking that will take you to the general section that you’ll need to make changes to.

Sure. I was able to recreate the issue on another site. First, let me point out that for both sites:

-I disabled caching from the Dashboard. I don’t know if that’s related to the issue.
    -Version 5.9 is installed
    -Blocksy theme is installed
-Were installed using my host’s installer, which includes BoldGrid
-Using the Customizer in the latest version of Chrome

How I recreated the issue today:
I accessed the Customizer and selected a new background color. The changes didn’t initially appear. While using the Customizer, I clicked a link to the homepage. The edits appeared on the live site a few seconds later.

When I attempted to close the Customizer, I got a browser message that my changes may not be saved. I let the browser close the page.

I reopened the Customizer and it displayed a message that there is an autosave available.
