I use Max Mega Menu plugin and have not problem inserting this search plugin into the main menu.

Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1.

Google Chrome Version 44.0.2403.125 m

WordPress 4.2.3 running Divi theme.

I just try with FireFox and it shows the exact same problem.
