How can we change the URL for our RSS feed? I’d prefer to use my feedburner feed rather than the one generated by WP, and so I’d like all of the Subscribe Me buttons to be configured to subscribe to my feedburner feed. It would be great if this were one of the options on the config screen for the plugin ??

For future reference, when you encounter a theme that doesn’t work in 2.0 (which does indeed then produce a white screen where you have no access to any of your admin panels, which is messed up…), you don’t need to wipe your whole WP install.

Simply delete the directory of the theme that you applied. When you then go to access wp-admin, it will tell you that the current theme is broken and the default theme is being restored.

any updates on this issue? it’s kind of a major feature for folks to be having problems with and no one in this thread has reported solving the problems with any of the patches.

Thanks for confirming – at least I know it’s not just me!

I’m having no problems with custom permalinks on a new install of WP 2.0. I used %postname%.htm and then clicked ‘update permalink structure’ (with having my .htaccess file rewriteable), and all is fine. You can see it in action at https://www.sealectric.com/tools/ (which for now is just a test blog where I’m playing around with WP 2.0)

Hi Denis –

I’m actually having quite a different problem with integration with Jerome’s Keywords. Clicking on the tags in the posts results in a 404 error (which on my site currently redirects to a hotel site of mine – something that needs to be changed..)

Sorry for the delay in replying – I was away for a long weekend visiting my newborn nephew ??

I don’t have any real system as to how long I keep the new tags up… probably should implement one..

the old fashioned way – by hand. it’s a pain in the butt, yet at the same time makes it easier for me to keep track of whether i’ve already added a theme to the list (with 270+, it’s a little hard to manage otherwise ??

FYI – my list is now up to 271 themes for WordPress 1.5

and…I ‘m back blogging – sporadically (my sister in law just had a baby, so things have been kinda hectic and exciting on the homefront with little Jackson’s arrival ??

Hey – Just wanted to say I haven’t forgotten about this project (or contacting you, shadow) – I’ve had some personal stuff come up over the weekend that’s taking up all of my attention at the moment. I hope to update my themes page soon (this is actually the reason why it’s GOOD to have several different places where theme lists are maintained) but have some urgent matters to attend to.. hope to be back blogging SOON!
