When clicking on the website all I see is a “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.” page. Are you updating the website right now? That may be the issue.
Do you have any another plugin installed that is altering the images. Such as an image optimzation plugin, or one converting the images to webp? If you do, you should try disabling those first and see if it’s a plugin conflict.
Like the above member stated you will need to build your website from scratch if you don’t have a backup. If you ever wanted a host that would save backups for your website, you could try
