I was looking for something totally different and came across the ability to use custom category pages, so I did it that way.

Adding it isn’t a problem, I’m designing the theme for the site, but I can’t figure out how to show the page. I created a copy of home.php and renamed it home_season1.php

Do you mean just show a static page?

That would just be done in Admin>> Settings>> Reading

To get rid of the white screen, go into your FTP and remove the theme you uploaded.

you’ll find it in:
wp-content/themes

It may have been a bad upload, so you could try it again, or if the same thing happens, you could manually upload the theme, see if that helps.

In your FTP software, right click on the ‘wp-content’ folder and then select Permissions from the menu that appears.

This will bring up a new screen, and you’ll see a number in there, change that number to 777.

I had this problem with the Hotgoss theme, I went through the code and it was drivign me crazy.

In the end, I discovered it was just one too many </div> commands in the header.php file.

You might want to try to remove the last </div> in header.php, just to see if it works.

It isn’t very technical, but I sometimes find that if I delete the style.css file, then refresh the page (it will look terrible on the page but don’t worry, then re-upload the style.css file, this may help.

I don’t know this theme, but the first thing you should do is ensure that you’ve set the permissions correctly for uploading.

Ensure that you have set the ‘wp-content’ folder to 777.
