In reply to: RSS Feeds not working in IE7Ah, removing “feed” worked like a charm. My site–well, the site I’ve been interning for, heh–was having problems with this and they asked me to fix it as my last task for them but I didn’t know how…it’s all good now. Thanks!

In reply to: WP Needs Better Support SystemThank you, moshu and HandySolo. I was unaware that most people here are unpaid volunteers. I never claimed to know everything, and being relatively new to WP, I’m sure there are a lot of things I have misunderstood but I am trying to learn as I go. I have actually been pleased with my overall experience with WP, but I suppose I should have posted that first as a caveat before making my remark.
I’d like to point out that I never said I didn’t appreciate the help that users give to each other; in fact, I said that most of the time the forums “do the trick,” so clearly I do think it often works. I have read several threads wherein I found a solution to my question and was satisfied.
I also do try to search for documentation on issues before coming to forums to try to read up first. However, not everything is answered there, which led me to my post. Even services you get for free should, ideally, provide some kind of guaranteed support. If that’s not possible, so be it. But there is always a risk that people will turn to other systems if they don’t get answers; that’s true for any service under the sun, free or paid. Again, if that’s not possible in this case, I understand, but it might be worth considering for the future. If there were a way to make it happen, it would make a great site even better.
I’m very surprised by the remarks saying that I posted to start “controversy” and that I’m an “ingrate,” because the last thing I intended was to start a flame war, and contrary to what may be believed, I have overall been pleased with my WP experience.

In reply to: How do I change the order of Pages? That doesn’t work for me either; I tried numbering my pages from the start. It’s alphabetizing them instead, which is really annoying because what is the “page order” section for if not to set what order they go in?

In reply to: Changing the Header ImageDoes anybody know how to fix this problem?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Changing the Header ImageI am having these same problems. I replaced kubrickheader with my image (also named kubrickheader) and when I open it up in the server folder, I see the new image. So theoretically it has replaced the default.
However, refreshing my site shows the default Kubrick image, which is no longer in that folder, appearing on top of my new image. I don’t understand how that’s even possible. I also tried the personalheader.jpg route (and changed the header.php code to take that image instead) and got the same result.
My new image is the exact same location as the default image was, so that should be right. The incredible thing is, I can take my copy of the default image, replace my new images with it on the server, and it goes back to the way it was with no trouble at all.
I’d be grateful to anyone who could help figure out what the problem might be. I was going to officially launch my site tonight and this was the last thing I had to do for it, but now I’m stuck on something that should have been extremely simple.

In reply to: Sidebar page link indent decreaseHi, can anyone help me with this question? I just want to align the About link (see above) with Categories and Archives. I don’t want the indent. This is a page, which is why it’s indented after “The Hub” (the heading that says “The Hub” was originally the default “Pages” headline; I just changed the text).
I’ve manage to customize other small things by playing with the code in the templates, but I can’t figure this out. Can someone please help me? I’m new to this. Thanks.

For ex., I’d want the About link to be aligned with Categories and Archives.
