Hey @alissit I saw this was a recent post, I just installed this plugin on my site. When I installed it and activated it, my admin area is COVERED in red telling me it is untested with my version of WordPress and errors could ruin my site. Is this normal or something I should worry about or risk? Let me know if you can I have never done a staging thing before… thank you!
Here is the warning:
Watch out: This version of WP Staging has not been tested with your WordPress version 5.3.
As WP Staging is using crucial DB and file functions it’s important that you are using a WP Staging version
which has been verified to be working with your WordPress version. You risk unexpected data lose if you do not so!Get the latest WP Staging plugin from https://wp-staging.com.
WP Staging is well tested and we did a lot to catch every possible error but we can not handle all possible combinations of server, plugins and themes.
BEFORE you create your first staging site it′s highly recommended to make a full backup of your website first!A good plugin for an entire WordPress backup is the free one BackWPup
I understand! (Do not show this again)

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce Automated Taxes ProblemThank you so much for the awesome answer, it really helped! Also, I know this isn’t the place, but which forum can I find plugins for wholesale options on Woocommerce? Is there any special plugins you may recommend handling having a B2C store for parents and students to purchase custom jackets, patches, and graduation gear ALSO while having a wholesale option for Administrators and Schools to have price discounts and bulk ordering. I saw The Wholesale suite, Woocomerce Protected Catagories, Or someone told me to just make user roles and then make coupons for price breaks but that doesn’t seem the best. I would like an option for logins and a Wholesale portal. They will be the same products and items just one is discounted and bulk ordered by the wholesale clients. If you have any experience in that let me know otherwise I will try my best to poke around on the forum. Thanks!!!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce Automated Taxes ProblemAh so with what you are saying is don’t even PUT US in there just have it only the 7.25% I get that. I am just worried because if he does for some reason sell up to 100,00$ to a state or make 200 transactions to a state within a year that becomes a nexus?! and I don’t really get that or how he can track that without a plugin. I don’t really know what to say to him if he does decide to sell the national route. But if Origin based in IL truly means everything runs through the store locations tax rate no matter where it is ordered or shipped to then what you said and proposed is correct.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce Automated Taxes ProblemFor sure, but the problem was inside Woocommerce itself. I guess it would be a Woocomerce service plugin error but that plugin can only be activated correctly if working with jetpack. I deleted the whole thing (jetpack and woo services) because it was dumb and wouldn’t work in the first place seeing as IL is an origin-based state in how you’re supposed to collect for taxes.
I am just wondering If I apply a shipping rate for my client’s store-based location and set that for the US if it will work to keep him compliant. I informed him about the nexus rules and laws that all go with it but not much I can do if he wants to ship out of IL and doesn’t keep track of that himself. Never done this before so wanted to know if I was doing it correctly. I also wanted to know if I am supposed to just have him charge that 7.25% rate even if he ships out of state as well seeing as were origin-based here in IL.
Or should he not be charging any other state taxes at all and only charging that rate in IL. I have a meeting with a tax jar person tomorrow to go over this but yeah…truly confused…Forum: Plugins
