This issue has been pending for 2 months now. No solution and the problem obviously isn’t understood anyway.

In a nutshell: buyers of VIRTUAL PRODUCTS are able to check out and leave the Country field blank, even if it’s marked as mandatory. Orders come in with country labeled ?default“ which is a desaster for accurate tax calculation. Absolutely not acceptable.

@webdesignsteyrer I would like to kindly ask you to start your thread because this is an entirely different that you describe. I really need a solution for this exact problem with virtual products checkout and don’t want to have this thread hijacked and distracted with a problem that’s not related.
