upd: Fields only disappear in creation post page after I’ve created a post and the page refreshes fields are there again. This bug shows up on different sites, also on fresh local wp copy. After deactivating CFS things go back to normal.

I had the same problem and fixed it adding width and height to both div containers of the slider. This can be of use only if you know the dimentions, of course, so it’s a limited solution. The real problem is that nivo.slider js won’t set the dimetions of container if the first image in set has a link in the alt field, but I couldn’t fugure out why yet
