The website is working correctly now, this is the route I followed:

#1 I installed WP-Optimize again.
#2 I ran all the optimizations and setup the Cache.
#3 I deactivated the WP Super Cache plugin.
#4 I deactivated the Acme Fix Images plugin.
#5 Then the Twitter cards worked perfectly, however I received too many Error 500 errosr, meaning that many pages were not loading.
#6 Then I renamed my .htaccess file following the procedure described in this link:

#7 Then the Error 500 error were gone.
#8 Then I opened many many pages of my website to see if I had more 500 Error errors and all pages opened fine.

So at this point, the Twitter cards work perfectly, I have installed and activated your plugin, and my website loads perfectly fine with no errors.

I tweeted just now the same post that I tweeted when I posted the original question, and you can see the Twitter card in this tweet:
