We have released a new patch that addresses the “TypeError: array_map()” issue in Hellodialog version 1.7.13. You can update the plugin to the latest version directly from the WordPress Admin.

Please let us know if this resolves the issue, or if you encounter any other problems.

We’re currently in communication with Heallodialog (as this plug-in was created on their behalf) to roll out a new update. As soon as we get the go-ahead we’ll roll it out. Unfortunately at this time I cannot give you an ETA, however, you could always contact Hellodialog directly to obtain more information about the ETA!

Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear about the downtime! We’re not aware of this issue and haven’t seen it happening before. The line you’re referring to takes the API response from Hellodialog and handles it further. It’s likely that the problem occurred due to a communication problem with Hellodialog’s API. Perhaps there was an incident on their end? We’ll implement a fix for this so the next time an incident like this will happen it won’t clog up your servers logs.

Expect the fix in the future in the form of a plug-in update!

Thanks for your feedback. While using the shortcode we check if certain fields pulled in from Hellodialogs API are enabled in WordPress. You can enable those fields in the plug-in forms.

The reason why you get the warning is when none of Hellodialogs fields are enabled in the plug-in. To catch this case and not throw a warning we’ve updated our plug-in. Please update to version 1.7.10 to prevent the warning from occuring.

We have released an update of the plug-in, please update to the latest version in order to prevent the fatal error from happening.

Hello everyone, thanks for your feedback and apologies for the late reply. We’re currently investigating the root-cause of this problem. It (indeed) seems to be caused by a connection error to the Hellodialog API. We’re currently in contact with Hellodialog and expect to release a fix (that will make sure no fatal error is thrown) later this week. Will send out an update as soon as it’s available.

The same is happening to me using ACF Pro v5.11.4
