In your FTP client (download Filezilla if you don’t have one) connect to your website and find the folder wp-content

Tip: Its in – /home/content/b/u/t/butterflydice/html/shatteredlands/

right click on the folder wp-content and select ‘File Permissions’ or ‘Chmod’ and change the number from 777 to 755

I use Google XML Sitemaps with some modification.

You can point links to anywhere you want…

I just have /%postname% for my main blog and it works but I remember having problems getting rid of the /blog/ bit..

Are you changing the permalinks in the

Settings > Permalinks
or
Super Admin > Sites > Site > Edit

I can’t remember the one that did it but I played around with both and got rid of it eventually..

yeah, that’s the first thing I tried.. Didn’t seem to work at all though..

Contact your host, is Apache not running then?

Andrea already answered this a few posts down apparently there is a plugin that does this…

sounds like a .htaccess problem. Double check you have got that file right.

Just thought this won’t work any way, as it will change all users to subscriber, when they hit the page with it on, not just the unassigned users..

back to the drawing board I guess..
