It seems that your fix probably works on WP 4.3, but not on 4.3.1. Others are also having issues with emails not being sent on the latest version.

I’m also experiencing this issue. Note to self: wait a while before updating WordPress!

Thanks for taking the time to write this! ?? I tried it, but unfortunatley this made the plugin not send any emails at all.

I think you might be right, WP 4.3 (which I use) have broken alot of things! Will try these things.

Yes, I think that’s what I mean ??

Since WordPress 4.3, when adding a user back-end, WordPress generates a random password and sends the user a link to set a new password, instead of the actual password in plain text. That link would be wonderful to have a hook for, thus rendering a plain text password obsolete.

Have the same issue! WordPress is probably insisting on sending a password reset link instead of the actual password, thus creating some sort of problem.

I’m experiencing the same issue. No emails are being generated (checked with email log plugin). I have not tamprerd with any settings for months. It seem to have been caused by the latest update.

Well, he just gave you a couple of solutions. What do you except him to do? As wslade said, contact your hosting company and see if they have a backup of your site (they almost always do). It’s the easiest fix.

If you want help, try and not be so rude. wslade or anyone else isn’t under any obligation to help you.
