Solved completely with this tricky way:

I’m not sure how useful this is to your tracing process, but fiddling around I discovered that if a feature is already ON such as “Sharing” and you turn it off, it will not allow you to turn it back on throwing the same.

There was no change. This issue existed immediately following installation, and was the first plugin to be installed. Wish I had better news for ya….

I’m experiencing this issue as well.
“Monitor failed to activate. SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0”
I tried @therealwesfoster’s solution with no success
