yes, not sure what pagination is but I want to keep the blog page and also have the home page (static page) widget display a preview of my latest post from my blog page.
The widget isn’t the sidebar one, its the one you posted in someone elses post a few days ago and displays under the feature images

Hey d4z_c0nf, yeah I have the widget working to display the blog page on my home page and it works but the problem is, the content you can see on my blog page isn’t actually added on the blog page from the edit page option. If I go to edit page, its blank. I believe its just mirrored there or something as I selected the blog page in settings to display my posts on that page. hope this makes more sense

I’ve created this widget in the php file. My problem is my blog page is displaying my posts from a specific category but when I put the page ID for my blog page in, it doesn’t display the posts shown on the page as there is no material on the actual page. How can I get the widget to display the recent posts?

I just disabled retina support and this has fixed it. Is there any issues I may run into by doing it this way?

I just went into the wp-content directory in file manager and made copies of the files you mentioned and renamed them. There was no instagram-icon-32×32.png, the closest file was instagram-logo-2 so I made a copy of that with @2x. It hasn’t fixed the problem and these files you mentioned aren’t the only ones that randomly stop working (I added @2x to a few other files that didn’t have them as well with no luck). Also if it matters, there is only ever 1 picture that stops working per page at a time.

If it makes any difference, its not always the same picture that doesn’t load, its random.

sorry, I don’t understand that. Too technical for me but using a 400px width worked great for what I wanted with span4, even when I minimized it.

yeah I read that but it didn’t explain where to find the .php file.
