After a search I found how to accomplish this.

Copy the file plugins/simple-event-planner/templates/event-listing/featured-image.php
To: themes/MY-THEME/event-listing/featured-image.php

This works, just not sure if this is the right way?

Same issue overhere:

– multisite WP3.8
– backWPup 3.1.1
– php version 5.3.3-7+squeeze15
– mySQL 5.1.66-0+squeeze1

When creating a job, job overview stays empty.
No logs are created.
