I resolved it. I deactivated / reactivated the plugin and everything went back to normal. I couldn’t figure out how to delete the post. Sorry about that!

PHENOMENAL plugin by the way! FooGallery + FooBox has resolved about 6 years of frustration & countless dollars wasted on other plugins.

I was! I turned it off today. Thank you so much! I updated my review to reflect that too.

Unfortunately several plugins have updated in the last few days (some several times). I *think* the ones that updated just before the site crashed were:
– Contact Form 7
– Yoast SEO
– Above the Fold Optimization (not active yet)

Sorry for the giant delay. I did install the plugin fresh; I’ve never used it before. I have many many tables & this happened with all of them. I even created a table where I just wrote the word “stuff” – 3 columns, 3 rows – and it still wouldn’t work either as an imported .csv or as a table I created within the plugin. I don’t use Firefox, I use Safari mostly. I also tried the tables in Chrome but issue persisted there.

I do think the webhost may be an issue. I’m currently (and sadly) with Bluehost. I had to uninstall the plugin 2 days ago because my site crashed. I only had it working on a few pages at that point. I decided to just use regular tables on the rest of the pages. I updated a few other plugins & my site crashed. Bluehost said it was this plugin causing the problems. I deleted it via cpanel and the site came up.

THANK YOU!!! That’s bugged me since I installed it. The fix worked like a charm! I use 3 of your themes because they have amazing features. Thank you so much for the help on that.

I’ve just tried using Google Sheets but it still won’t save the information in the table. I’ve also tried creating a test table manually, it still won’t save. I’ve also tried this using Safari & Chrome.

I don’t know if this matters, but I am running a WordPress Multisite setup.

Additionally, I’m using Microsoft Excel to create the .csv files but I am on a Mac. It doesn’t matter which of the 3 .csv formats I choose. I’ve tried all three formats. The data imports but the moment I save the table it vanishes.

The data I’m using is all text – no .html, no emails, no currency. Just text. I’ve even tried setting the columns to “text” but that doesn’t seem to help either.

I loaded my theme on my testing site to test this. Sadly the attachment pages don’t actually function like real pages. I have specifically formatting on my art pages that I can’t do with attachment pages. Plugins don’t recognize them, I can’t go to an area and see a list of all the attachment pages or make draft pages, among other problems. I’ve always been baffled by what purpose the attachment pages actually serve tbh, I’m even more baffled now that I tried to use one.

Thank you James, but that only takes care of 3 of the four things I need….unless I’m not seeing something. The instructions say images can only open to the attachment page or media file. I don’t see a way I can change it to a real page (not an attachment page) which is why I went with WP Canvas – Gallery because it does that. I already have created 100+ pages and don’t even want to think about the number of 301 redirects I’d have to create in addition to moving all the information from one page to the next.

It works under 4.4.1 as well. I just wish the masonry gallery had a pagination option.

That worked perfectly! It took a few minutes after I logged out of the site for the Kitchenbug plugin to recognize it (I refreshed & emptied my browsers cache). Once it did though, it worked like a charm. What a great add-on!!

Turns out it was the theme I was using. I switched to Twenty Twelve and everything works the way I expected it to ??

Sorry, didn’t think about that. Currently I have information in the “caption” area for some of the art under “clay art” but stopped adding anything except the title when I realized the descriptions weren’t showing up.
