You’re a wizard! Yes, that’s it! I was just taking a screen shot of all the plugins and you’d already figured out which one it was and gave me a solution.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, sir! And yes, now the already awesome plugin works EXACTLY how this professor needs it to!!!! And now I have a great tool I can recommend for other professors!
You’ve saved the day!!!!! A million thank you’s!!!!!
Sorry – forgot to mention that Shibboleth might also have additional security measures!!
I couldn’t see a list of users in Print My Blog.
No, I don’t know how to enable the WP REST API. But I downloaded and enabled a plugin — WP REST API Controller — and enabled user_request (“Expose the User Request post type to the REST API.”) for both sites. Would that do the trick?
So on the test site, which doesn’t have PrivateWP enabled, here’s the URL that hangs when using the plugin: https://test-of-pursuitofhappiness.academic.wlu.edu/?post-type=post&order-date=asc&order-menu=asc&include-private-posts=1&taxonomies%5Bcategories%5D%5B0%5D=4&pmb-author=1789&dates%5Bafter%5D&dates%5Bbefore%5D&show_site_title=1&show_site_tagline=1&show_site_url=1&show_filters=1&show_date_printed=1&show_credit=1&show_title=1&show_date=1&show_categories=1&show_featured_image=1&show_content=1&post_page_break=on&columns=1&font_size=normal&image_size=medium&links=include&rendering_wait=200&print-my-blog=1&format=html
Using https://printmy.blog/now/, it can find the categories, but not the list of users. So I must’ve set up the WP REST API incorrectly.
My apologies, typo from earlier. I couldn’t get printmy.blog to see DIFFERENT users, not categories!!!!
And yes, that works fine! What cc would be the parameter for a user? If I can just add that then I’m good!!!
Ok, when it hangs, it’s just on https://test-of-pursuitofhappiness.academic.wlu.edu/
As for the plugin, it’s PrivateWP. But I can turn that off for when it’s time to create exports, not a biggie.
Thank you for replying and for being so willing to help. Obviously this is a super plugin because of such excellent support!!!

In reply to: [Media Library Folders] Only Version 4.3.7 worksOK, so I contacted our web hosting provider to ask if they could look into the “Javascript error : Uncaught ReferenceError: mgmlp_ajax is not defined” error. (I’m getting paranoid that at some point, version 4.3.7 won’t work anymore.)
Here’s what they said:
“I’ve been digging around some to see if there is any reason why the plugin is throwing these errors, and I’m unable to see anything obvious. The instructions to deactivate the plugin, clear the database, and so on no longer seem to work either.
I can confirm that we do have the most recent Javascript packages that our software vendors have released. The plugin seems to be recognizing that the files exist, and is trying to organize them, as it can regenerate thumbnails for images and so on, but just fail to display them in its interface.
I would reach out again more to the developer(s) of the plugin to see if they are aware of any plugin incompatibilities or known issues that could be causing this, because they would probably have a better idea on why these errors are being thrown. If they can point you in the right direction, we can see what to do about resolving it.”
Might there be any new thoughts about what’s going on here?
Thank you for your time!
OK, the slideshow appears just fine, but there is still the error message!

In reply to: [Media Library Folders] Only Version 4.3.7 worksThanks for the reply. I cleared my browser cache, deleted cached files (actually there weren’t any) and I don’t have any plugins that minify scripts or CSS.
I updated to the most current plugin and still got the same error message. I tried the Media Library Folders Reset plugin and still got the same error message.
No worries, 4.3.7 still works, so that’s fine with me! Thanks again for your time.
