  • I have the same trouble.
For a new shop; it’s impossible to connect using the IOS App. It says that i need to install and connect Jetpack but the Jetpack is intalled and it is connected.

I’s been 3 days , i keep disconnect and reconnect while trying all sorts of things.
    – make sure i have the latest WP version, the lastest WooCommmerce, the latest jetpack plugins
    – make sure i am on PHP 7.4
    – make sure my xmlrpc.php page is giving the right message
    – try while using another theme (in case the theme was causing trouble)
    – try while disabling all other plugins (Except Woo and Jetpack)
    – try on another brand new WP installation
    – get in touch with Jetpack support team and try what they suggest (4 or 5 emails exchange)

After all this and some other things tested, my situation is the same :
When i connect Jetpack in WP, it’s Ok , i see that the website is connected but the accounts says “undefined” (where we should normally see the email of the account connected)

I if i check the WordPress.com account, i see that the website is connected that the IOS app is connected.

If i do a https://jptools.wordpress.com/debug/ , it tells me that “everything looks great”

I have connected other shops before with no trouble.

If you help find fix this non sense bug, i think i’ll be grateful for a thousand years!

    Thanks

Yesterday i disabled the Website firewall and the site was running OK.

As i had serious doubt that the option “automatic redirection according to the brower language of the user” was creating problem, i disabled it.

As the site was fine, this morning , i re-activated the Website firewall…..and the site is still fine.

So i think that using the automatic redirection according to the language of the user borwser is not a good idea if we use a firewall as i do.

My site is safe with the firewall and it works fine with Polylang.

    Happy day !

    Thanks again for support.

    Hi, Thanks for support.

    It’s getting better.
The website was using this service https://sucuri.net/website-firewall/stop-website-attacks-and-hacks

Their support was the person who asked me about javascript redirections

    In order to check if this could be the origin of the trouble i disabled this wbesite firewall and set up a normal configuration;
    The website is now OK.
So we know where the trouble comes from now.

We don’t know why exactly but we know how to avoid it.

I’ll try with their suppor team to reactivate the firewall without bug tomorrow.

Could you just confirm the site looks fine (Home french or English) on your side ?

You can close this post as solved.

    Thanks

    Here you go
    https://snag.gy/w3e4B.jpg
    https://snag.gy/Hymt9.jpg

I don’t understand your idea of checking this.
The link to this page or OK.

If i look at it, i see
    FR : https://www.hotel-lenautilus-saint-malo.com/
    EN : https://www.hotel-lenautilus-saint-malo.com/en/hotel-le-nautilus-in-saint-malo/

    So this is fine.

The trouble is that if you go to https://www.hotel-lenautilus-saint-malo.com/
you are automatically directed to the english version.

Please note, that i tested to activate a default theme just to for test purpose. ( did not solve my trouble)
In the next 20 minutes, you might find some weired cached page some with the right theme, some with the wrong theme.
It should come back to normal in some minutes more.

Somebody who tried to help mme, asked me this:
Do you know if Polylang uses javascript redirections to achieve its functionality?

    Whan can i answer ?
