To do a test, I changed it to design 1 (no Categories & Tags option) and back to swift – still no Categories & Tags option…

here it seems to be working too, there are images in the cache-folder ??

But in the “Seitenquelltext” I can not see the local storage URL of this images, there ist still the original youtube URL mentioned.

How can I check, that the local image is used?

sorry, but I don’t have that option on settings -> design -> single section…

I activated Tags in the single section , but Categories & Tags Links ist not there.

How can I check, if curl/ file_get_contents is available in my PHP-installation or if outgoing requests are blocked?

It does:

The thumbnails are loaded from YouTube servers, but those are not tracked by YouTube (no cookies are being set). Upon clicking on the play button however, YouTube can and will collect information about you.
