So on mobile there is an action that is called inherently by clicking on the icon while on the desktop there is not, right? It would seem that the simplest solution on the usability side of things would be to have the default action be to go to the website if it is not mobile while retaining the clicking for options action if it is mobile. I’m not sure how the coding would work… I know just enough of JavaScript and PHP to read it and know I shouldn’t try to re-write plugins! ??

That would be perfect! As a default then, the icon would visit the social media the icon refers to? I would love that! I have the same plugin on other sites with no problems and it just does nothing when you click and don’t select from the tooltips but I like the idea of it actually going to the website.

As a note… with a launch for the website happening, I just took away all options for the icons except for visiting the actual page. Now when you click on the icons, it takes you to the correct social media and you cannot see the error. I can activate the problem and take screenshots if you would like when you need it. I just don’t want visitors to have a bad experience in the meantime!

Thanks for the prompt response! I ended up going into the database directly to update it. In there, I could set the number of comments back to the default of 20. When I went into the dashboard to work with the comments again, I set the number to display to 200 and that didn’t make the screen go blank! I could only delete 1 page of comments (200 comments in this case) and then would have to click on “Comments” in the main navigation to do the next page because otherwise the address was too long for the server. Strange glitch day today!
