ofcourse your customers will be able to add extras like child seats, GPS devices, additional drivers etc. with the car rental plugin from Hispacar as these are fairly common additional services when people rent a car for their holidays ??

They can do so during the booking process after they’ve selected their preferred vehicle and before they introduce their creditd card details.

One recommendation we have in such cases is, that they check the price of these services, because different car hire companies have different prices for child seats or extra drivers and sometimes the final price of a more expensive basic rental price can be cheaper after adding up the price of the requested supplements.

definir una localidad que aparece por defecto en el buscador de coches de alquiler de Hispacar es un proceso muy sencillo. Se hace directamente desde la pantalla de configuracion (“Car Hire Hispacar Settings“) del plugin.

Pinche en el enlace “Help me find the ID” del campo “Default location id“. Se abrirá una ventana emergente donde podrás introducir el nombre de la localidad que quieres mostrar como lugar de recogida por defecto.

Esta herramienta te devuelve in ID de la localidad elegida que tienes que introducir en el configurador del plugin.

Pincha en “Save changes” para guardar los cambios.

El hecho de haber establecido un lugar por defecto en el comparador de coches de alquiler no implica que tus clientes no podrá alquilar un coche en otro destino, porque tus clientes pueden sobreescribir el destino por defecto en la caja de búsqueda par tener una selección de empresas de rent a car en un lugar de recogida diferente.

Espero que te sirven estas instrucciones, pero si tienes cualquier problema o quieres saber la ID de una localidad determinada no dudes en avisarnos.

There are several different policies with slight variations depending on the supplier and the pickup country or location:

• Pickup full and return full. A security deposit may be requested as a guarantee. A penalty may apply in case the car is not returned completely full.
• Pickup full and return empty. There is no refund of unused petrol so return as empty as possible.
• Pickup full and return as you please. The unused petrol is refunded to the customer’s credit card.
• Pickup full and return as you please. The unused petrol is refunded less an administration charge.

These are the most common petrol policies offered by car hire companies worldwide.

Due to the fact, that there are so many different variations the petrol policy can not be defined in the configuration of the plugin, but any customer can use the filters on the search results page to find a suitable offer.
