Having this same issue. Hoping the next update is soon, and fixes this issue!

I think I figured it out, it was something dumb. I had the “more types” plugin installed with a custom post type also named “post” that I think was confusing the issue. I removed the plugin and redirected the ?post section of the URLs, so hopefully that’ll take care of it.
