Well… Just tested a very simple thing: switched from “Really Simple SSL” to “One Click SSL” plugin and it solved ALL the issues with AAM and its CSS not loading. Not the first time “One Click SSL” results more reliable than popular plugin “Really Simple SSL”! Phew….
Sorry for long delay.
Thanks for your reply, I can give you temporary limited admin access to a building site where I can still reproduce the issue with AAM…

In reply to: [File Manager Pro - Filester] Problems with mixed contentsThanks for support offer… I’ll try fixing it manually by myself first.
It seems something in the DB after migration still points to the old site “casetta…” when opening the plugin page “File Manager”, (Settings and Recommended sub-pages are ok)…The strange thing is that it never happens with another file manager like Advanced File Manager… what kind of files does it look for?

In reply to: [Front Page Category] Not working with DIVIOk. Thank you for the answer.
Changed rating.Same questions: I don’t need public shared files by category or user roles, I need instead a file management system where customers can upload contracts and other kinds of reserved documents, and a list-view of personal files visible only to the specific end-user showing his uploaded and downloadable files, with versioning.
Just wanted to understand if this plugin allows this scenario.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WordPress Hide Posts] Not hiding post type on post type archive pageStill not available from WP?
No, I needed an option to Open Link + Close popup when user clicks the text-link… but I see options to Open Link OR Close popup on click there.
If I change that text (Advanced Editor for text) I can add a link there but then will make the text a usual link and ignore my text formatting and spacing. In short a Open Link + Close popup option under “Click Action” cycle-menu would be better IMHO.May I ask you if you can implement a Reset button in the settings page for next updates?
Could be handy in these cases…@jjthomps
No unfortunately. My only manual solution was to edit plugin CSS directly replacing “<?php echo AAM_MEDIA; ?>” with real path:
/plugin-editor.php?file=advanced-access-manager%2Fapplication%2FBackend%2Ftmpl%2Fmetabox%2Fiframe-header.php&plugin=advanced-access-manager%2Faam.php<link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php echo AAM_MEDIA; ?>/css/vendor.min.css" type="text/css" media="all" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php echo AAM_MEDIA; ?>/css/aam.css" type="text/css" media="all" /> change to: <link rel="stylesheet" href="/wp-content/plugins/advanced-access-manager/media/css/vendor.min.css" type="text/css" media="all" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="/wp-content/plugins/advanced-access-manager/media/css/aam.css" type="text/css" media="all" />
(using AAM 6.7.7, still have to test latest 6.8.0. EDIT: tested 6.8.0 but wasn’t solved)

In reply to: [Manager for Icomoon] The style.css file looks corrupted or empty.Same for me: all I get trying to upload an icomoon customized archive is a generic: “The style.css file was not detected.”. Of course style.css and everything is present in the ZIP file, and I can even display all icons opening the included demo.html
EDIT:
Never mind, I was able to extract the old customized icomoon ZIP archive and upload the .json file to Icomoon web app (May 2021) which correctly loaded my icons, so I finally (re)exported the font and this “new” ZIP archive worked fine once imported with ‘Manager for Icomoon’ 1.2.2.
