I plan on doing that, but even as Contributors they can edit their user profiles.

What I am wanting to do is take the information from the user profile (i.e. name, email, url, about) & have it dynamically show up on a page.

If you have a plugin that effects the admin area (like drop down boxes for the “manage”, “settings”, etc.) then you need to delete that from the directory before the sidebar will show up. That was my problem.

Hey be happy, I don’t even have a sidebar or a way to get back to my dashboard other then typing in the direct url.
