I am also having this issue, just recently I wasn’t able to see any markers on my wordpress site. How do I resolve this?

Right now the text is shown in HTML and I can’t switch to the visual although I can see the tab. The issue is that I can’t seem to find the option in my user where I can enable/disable the visual editor.. Here’s how it looks:
