In reply to: [Storefront] Storefront Handheld Footer Bar Icon Not ShowingTried again. Even without the !important, it worked. I moved all from Additional CSS to style.css, and it worked. I guess it was a buffer issue and with time and lack of attention, it cleared and the problem went away. Sorry for the bother.

In reply to: [Storefront] Storefront Handheld Footer Bar Icon Not ShowingNot the problem. I have the color of the bar set to grey and the search icon, in white, shows up. Indeed, if I put the CSS for the new icons into the Additional CSS section of the Customizer, it works fine (I found this out after posting the original question). All the links work whether the icons are there or not.

In reply to: [Storefront] Storefront Handheld Footer Bar Icon Not ShowingI am having a similar problem although not associated with an update. I have added two links that work, but with no icons. The CSS I have used is:
.storefront-handheld-footer-bar ul li.species > a:before {
/*font-family: FontAwesome;
z-index:999;*/
content: “\f06c”;
}I commented out two lines bec they were clearly not the solution. I’m using Storefront 2.5.5 with a child theme.

In reply to: [What The File] Toolbar Option NOT VisibleUsing WP 5.1.1 and logged in as administrator, the toolbar option is still NOT visible. There seems to have been no answer to the question 5 months ago. WTF ??
Additional note: I am also unable to change or select a new password in the user management interface for existing users. This is true on a mac running 10.6.8 with a no-longer-supported chrome browser, as well as in Safari, and on a mac running El Capitan in Safari, so I don’t think it is a browser issue.
Same issue here. WP is up to date (4.7.4 running Alpha Nexus – also latest version). Deactivated ALL plugins… no joy. Changed theme to 2017… no joy, changed back. Change theme to 2017 AND deactivated all plugin… no joy.
My add user screen does not look like the one in the documentation… no Password (required) or Repeat Password (required) fields. Just a “Show password” button that does nothing. Ignoring that and hitting Add User gives the error that started this thread. Is there an alternative way to add a user if this can’t be resolved?
