  • I’m having a similar issue with the latest Cloudflare plugin on Pantheon.

The Cloudflare settings page initially requested the Cloudflare email address and API key. After submitting that information, a page with a single “Active Zone” dropdown (to select the associated domain) and “Home” “More Settings” and “Analytics” icons/links is presented.

The dropdown defaults to “endpointf90c6b08.chios.panth.io” — which is not a domain in the cloud flare account, the dropdown selector is unresponsive (clicking on it does nothing), and the Home/More Settings/Analytics icons and links are inoperative.

Net-net: The plugin cannot be configured.

I’ve confirmed this operation with the latest Safari and Firefox browser versions.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I removed the plugin and went another route — so I cannot provide a screenshot.

Thanks for the prompt response! I’ve checked the updated plugin and observed the following:

The height of the stock list is defaulting to ‘320px’ if left blank — even though the plugin settings state the following:

“Height of the chart in pixels (optional). If this parameter is not specified, the height will be automatically adjusted, based on the number of symbols displayed. By default, this parameter is left blank.”

I wanted the height to be automatically adjusted, so I deleted the ‘320px’ entry and saved the settings; however, the refreshed settings page defaults back to showing ‘320px’. Using this setting resulted in the widget being rendered with 80px of whitespace at the bottom .

I can manually set the height to work around this; but wanted to let you know that the auto-height is not behaving.

    Two additional questions:

    (1) What is the business model for this plugin? i.e., will you be charging for use at a later date or is there a premium version of the plugin currently available?

    (2) Is there a way to remove the stockdio.com branding? I think it is nicely done; but our client might object so I want to know if unbranded use is also possible.

Thanks again for a very nicely done plugin and excellent, responsive service!

Thanks Stockdio. We are working through the punchlist for a client site that is due next Monday and would love to use the Stockdio plugin. Holding my breath for the update this week!

    Update:

    1. I tried using the example short code from the WordPress plugin page (see below) and that works:

    [stock-quotes-list symbols=”AAPL;MSFT;GOOG;HPQ;^SPX;^DJI” stockExchange=”NYSENasdaq” width=”100%” height=”380″ motif=”financial” palette=”financial-light”]

    2. I modified the above short code to add the desired symbols, and to use each of the three US exchanges (NYSENasdaq, OTCMKTS, and OTCBB) as shown below:

    “[stock-quotes-list symbols=”BPEAX;BPECX;BPEIX;BPMAX;BPMCX;BPMIX;” stockExchange=”NYSENasdaq” width=”100%” height=”380″ motif=”financial” palette=”financial-light”]”

    “[stock-quotes-list symbols=”BPEAX;BPECX;BPEIX;BPMAX;BPMCX;BPMIX;” stockExchange=”OTCMKTS” width=”100%” height=”380″ motif=”financial” palette=”financial-light”]”

    “[stock-quotes-list symbols=”BPEAX;BPECX;BPEIX;BPMAX;BPMCX;BPMIX;” stockExchange=”OTCBB” width=”100%” height=”380″ motif=”financial” palette=”financial-light”]”

None of these work — only the symbol with is displayed — no data.

Also, the display is not matching the configuration entered in plugin settings — logo, Company, %change and trend are showing for the short code in #1 even though I’ve unchecked them in plugin settings.

Any idea why this is not working?

    Hi John,

I compared the files in the plugin that was installed from the WP plugin repository to the plugin on the github repo (https://github.com/cloudflare/CloudFlare-Wordpress) and they appear to be significantly different despite having the same description. See file comparison below.

I went ahead and deleted the plugin installed from the WP plugin repository and installed the plugin from the Cloudflare GitHub repo. However, the plugin setting screen is now blank activating the plugin. Net-net: the plugin is still not working.

Here are the files in cloudflare plugin folder installed directly from WordPress Plugin repository:

    cloudflare.php
    IpRange.php
    IpRewrite.php
    readme.txt

Here are the top level folders and files in the CloudFlare-Wordpress-Master Github repo:

No — there are no errors in the php error log of either site.

This is odd as there is zero indication that the plugin is not mis-installed. The installed version is 1.3.24 and it does not contain the checkbox in either installation. I don’t suspect it is a theme issue because the settings page appearance is identical on both sites which happen to use two different themes (Divi and Layers).

    Two questions:

Can you show me where the checkbox for restoring visitors IP is supposed to appear?

Also, I am going to try downloading and re-installing the plugin from the Cloudflare Github repo to see if that makes a difference.

    Thoughts?

    Hi John,

Here are two screenshots that might be helpful:

As you can see from the screenshots:

    1. There is no checkbox for restoring visitors IP
    2. The plugin status messages indicates correct setup
    3. The site (Smart Security Tools plugin) is seeing Cloudflare IPs not end user IPs

    Does this help?

Any thoughts on how to correct this?

    Thanks!

    (@heretiq)

    Hi John,

Thanks for the follow-up. There is no checkbox in the plugin settings.

The only options/elements on the settings page are the following:

    – Cloudflare Domain Name (plugin reports: “Your domain name has been saved.”)

    – Cloudflare API Key (plugin reports: “Your key has been verified.”)

    – Cloudflare API Email (plugin reports: “Your key has been verified.”)

    – Development Mode On/Off Radio Button (set to “Off”)

    – HTTPS Protocol Rewriting Radio Button (set to “On”)

    – Update options >> button

That’s it — there is no checkbox for restoring the visitor’s IP in the plugin settings. This is the case on the two sites (a Divi site and a Layers site) that we’ve added to plugin to.

    Thoughts?

    Hi Uri,

Yes, that is correct: I would like the option of selecting which forms are imported into UPiCRM and trigger UPiCRM operation.

I have confirmed the following current, undesirable, operation:

    1. UPiCRM is triggered on all forms — even those that have not been field mapped to UPiCRM;
    2. Submitting un-mapped forms cause blank records to be added to the database, blank records assigned, and blank notifications distributed;
    3. Testing suggests that UPiCRM preempts operation of other lead management/form handling plugins.

Regarding #3: the site currently uses LeadIn on existing forms and we want to use UPiCRM with a specific form for the time being and continue to use LeadIn on the other forms. This does not appear possible since UPiCRM is now triggered on every form submission (even for unmapped forms) and LeadIn is no longer triggered on any form.

Net-net: Our use case requires configuring UPiCRM to (1) trigger on specific, mapped forms only, and (2) allow other plugins/form handlers to trigger/operate.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

You’re welcome Uri. I’m glad my feedback is helpful. Thank you for your work!

    Hi Uri,

Just following-up to say that the video was marginally helpful. I was able to get the plugin set up after a couple hours of tinkering with the settings. I also had problems adding users and getting them to show up in UniCRM; but was finally able to do so after going back to the WordPress plugin install page and noticing a statement near the bottom of the page that referred to setting UpiCRM roles in the general WordPress user management pages vs doing so in UpiCRM. Setting the UpiCRM roles on the WordPress user edit page worked immediately — compared to multiple failed attempts to set them in UpiCRM Users Center.

Net-net: You have a great plugin; but it is being hindered by out of date/incorrect documentation. I think it would be helpful to update the written instructions.

Thanks again for a great plugin and responsive support.

Is there a “Pro” version of UpiCRM by chance?
