I found it…..

In the Bacic setting of the Theme, There is a check box:
“Hide default content from theme ”

This works for the Boy…
Go to Appereance->Widgets-> and add a Text widget to the Banner Wide Widget Position & Call To Action Widget Position. The problem will be solved.

But I can’t get rid of the….”WELCOME to PURE & SIMPLE” Text?????

They do not use htaccess. They say it is a security risk??? Any ideas?. I wanted to do this to add a sitemap for Google. Does https://example.com/?p=N hurt me in Googles eyes?

Yahoo hosting will not let me rename the file too .htaccess

It is not their. Where is it supposed to go? Main directory?
