It seems to have been coincidental, there are other issues with the server.

EDIT: the Site Kit version was 1.1.4

– it was the latest version as of this New Year.
– Google Analytics only
– it was not possible to reach the dashboard at all, nor the webpage. It returned “Database Connection Error” or something like that, nor was there anything in the Apache log to indicate problems.

Here’s a Munin-printout over the week over Xmas when the site started to go down frequently.

@marcusig I think it was another plugin that was up to no good. It turned out to be an out-of-memory condition.

I’m not too familiar with Github.

– error.log showed nothing
– the server log didn’t show anything special
However, I found a great open-source monitoring system that I will use to track for the next time it happens.

I would guess this is a problem at the Micros… sorry, LinkedIn-side ??

Disregard, I tried to reconnect it using mobile and now it magically works. ??

@alexmacarthur, thank you for your suggestion. I understand that this could be a tricky area since social media decides what to use as image. I will look for another way to tweak it, maybe defer the widget from loading, so that FB might pick the image I want it to show.
