yes, exactly! This is how i got it.

Just by disabling youtube integration, the layout works fine

yes, everything is up-to-date.

There is an option Display mode -> Same height

I have done it just like that.

But if i go to:
(translated:)
appearance -> customize -> WooCommerce -> product catalog -> “select what is shown on the shop main page” (or similar, i have it in finnish) -> show categories
Then on the search also i will only see categories, no products.
If i set from the same place “show products” it will show the search correctly, only products
but i want the shop page to show only categories and search only products.

I don’t see any related option in the elementor.

Well, i didn’t hesitate on updating the WordPress to version 5.6 because of possible plugin conflicts…
Now i updated the WordPress… and

The category popped in to the site!!!

So problem solved!

I am using elementor pro for the site and the hello theme.
And changing the products shown on the page didn’t make it appear.

All the products in that category are visible.
The category is accessible if i know the url. even without logging in.

I also tried the troubleshooting plugin and disabled all except wpml** and woocommerce, but nope, i cannot see the missing category on the site….

Hello, Thanks, but that’s not what i asked.

I have 6 top level categories and various sub categories.

But only 5 top level categories are shown even if all those 6 have products (and do not have a parent category)

How do i show the hidden category?

btw i used
.*page=304&lang=1
and it works on the test site, but not on the actual site. will investigate…

This works on the test site.

but it might be an incompatibility with wpml or some other plugins since it is working differently on the other site. It changes the slashes to %2F

the page=301 redirects for some reason to /?/one
the question mark there.

I have no other plugins running on the test site.

well, it works totally different on the test site.
But still not as i expected.
