Yes, I would LOVE this option as well! Cascading the most recent posts first, in descending order all the way through the Feature, Primary and Secondary listings, with an option to show a certain number of secondary listings.

Even better, the ability to do without the secondary listings, and a numerical option for amount of Primary listings all the way to the footer…

OR…an option for infinite scrolling of Primary listings, without the footer (and with a “scroll to top” button)?? Hmmm…

I’m appreciating all of the input here. I’m not sure if anyone is having the same issue but here goes:
I have the JetPack subscribe by email widget, and subscribed to my own blog to test it, and in the email I received, the links were bad. The links still included the URLs the site used while it was still being built, before I made it go live. So in the email, where it says “Great content you may have missed…” when you click on the link it goes to a Blue Host 404 Error page.
So the JetPack email subscription widget is doing me no good if my readers can’t even link to my pages.
Any ideas? I’d like to fix it if possible, but as of now, I have a small enough number of subscribers that it would be easy for me to use a different service, like Mail Chimp. But I’d rather not have to go through all that.

try the above links in the wordpress forums, they all helped me. Also, if you are having problems getting your images to appear in the slider window, do not mark them “sticky”

This option is on the Edit Post page, in the Publish box, under “Visibility.” On other themes, in order to get a post in a featured position, you have to mark it “Sticky,” in Oxygen, to have it appear in the slider, go down to the Location box, and mark it “Featured.”

To have it appear underneath your slider as a thumbnail, mark it “Primary.” The “Secondary” option will give you a link without a thumbnail.

I was wondering the same thing. I moderate a WP.com site fro my employers, and have a self-hosted WP.org site for myself. I thought the jetpack plugin would link my two accounts. It would be nice to have the same social properties with WP.org as with WP.com.

This helped me fix both the top “bar-style” page menu, and the slider feature. It will also tell you how to place the other featured articles.

Too bad devpress doesn’t have better (FREE!) support, but the WP community seems to be happy to help one another.

tarapig, I am using the Oxygen theme also, just now building my site. I’m having the same problem you mention above, and when I visited your site (it looks great), I see that your top menu bar is in place. How did you fix the issue?

Hi, I am getting the same message. This is the PHP config on my bluehost cpanel:

PHP5 (Single php.ini)
Same as PHP5, but all subdirectories will use ~/public_html/php.ini

I also get a similar message when trying to upload multiple images into my wordpress.com post, with a “crunching…” message, but nothing happens.

I have a mac with safari and Snow Leopard OSX 10.6.3

getting very frustrated with WP. switched because I heard how customizable it is, but I’m not used to code, and am not finding I’m able to do much beyond the set themes. I might just stick with iweb and try using FTP to import.

any help is greatly appreciated.
