Hey guys, updated the plugin from 1.4.0 to 1.5.1 on my client site over the weekend. Confirm that the Team Member Profile Box avatar is back to how it was before the update to 1.5.0. Well done @corinneolson and GB Team. ??

I don’t recall removing anything from the exclusion list, but jquery.min.js was certainly not in there. I just added –
? wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.min.js

The slider is now working again.

Hi Frank, unfortunately JS is not my forte’.

The console is showing 3 errors –

? Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at lightslider.min.jsver=0c4dcf57b7db5e45278350a7ed8c4920:1

? Uncaught ReferenceError: $ is not defined at (index):56

? Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at (index):56`

I just tried excluding the scripts –
wp-content/plugins/wpstudio-testimonial-slider/assets/js/lightslider.js, and
wp-content/plugins/wpstudio-testimonial-slider/assets/js/lightslider.min.js, but it didn’t resolve the issue.

Unchecking “Aggregate all linked JS-files to have them now render blocking” allows the slider to operate as normal.

Dashicons are already excluded from ‘Autoptimize’.

If you inspect the front-end, the CSS clearly shows that they are Font Awesome icons. If you uncheck font-family: ‘Fontawesome’; the icons disappear.

On closer inspection, it appears that the theme developer has over-ridden the styling for the icons in style.css (SEO Themes – Business Pro Theme).

I’m waiting on a response now from the theme developer.

I appreciate your solution, but I’m a WP developer and have in fact implemented my own solution that is independent of plugin updates. In fact I’m still contemplating removing the plugin from a client site altogether and using custom HTML instead.

The fact remains; the phone number field should be clickable, by default!

Please pass this recommendation onto the plugin developer.

I actually rebuilt the site from a backup, on my local server, and updated all of the plugins, WP and theme. I couldn’t reproduce the issue the clients reported, even though I could see it on their live site.

I just binned their site and migrated my dev site to their server and so far so good.
