Hello, I have the same exact problem as gatehousedesign. Im installing a wordpress site on a host that I’ve not chosen and I cant find that mysqli is enabled when looking at phpinfo and get the fail in installer file.

1) I wonder if there is any way to work around this? Can on manually unzip the file in ftp or something that, makes me succeed with the installation anyway.
Or do I just have to go down another path?

2) My second question is: Is it a boig thing for the host to make mysqli available? Is it complicated and not just something they switch on and off…?
