For the param value it shows https://www.youtube.com/v/youtubeid I wonder if something is wrong with my php then?

I kinda would like to see more images and examples on the artisan profiles. I also really wish there was a site like this for my area! I think its lovely!

That link didn’t work for me, but adding a www in the beginning did. Not sure if thats anything you can fix or if my firefox is just being funky.

I would definitely reduce the amount of posts on your front page, as it seemed to take quite a bit of time to load. Or perhaps its not that you have a lot of posts per page, but that your posts are very long!

Maybe by keeping that “recent posts” menu in your side bar nice and close to the top you could swing 1-2 posts on the front page, but still have the links nice and handy for your viewers to see what else you have to offer. Just my suggestion.

I think it looks lovely. I didn’t have a problem reading any of it, but maybe some of your main content text could use a little lightening.

It does look very professional, clean and easy on the eyes. But for some reason I feel like the theme does not match the content. Its hard for me to describe so bare with me (and this is just my newbie opinion of course). Your theme looks like one you might see on a hosting site, a tech site, or one that is selling a product; however your articles and such make it feel more like an online magazine. I hope I explained that well enough.

Again, it is a very clean and professional looking theme either way!

I was sort of picturing without the highlights, but I think it does look better now. Sometimes little details like that can help bring it all together it seems. Still, very nice work!

I agree with paul, it is quite nice! But maybe making the header look along the lines of the footer will help it tie in more.

Thanks Darran. I have made some changes to make the text a little easier on the eyes, and the links a little more obvious.

maybe I spoke too soon, it seems I can link to my rss feed with this url https://hebbybya.com/blog/?feed=rss2, but not with the tag php bloginfo(‘rss2_url’); so I can enable the customizable perma links, I just have to link to the feed with the actual url. otherwise I get the “XML Parsing Error: xml declaration not at start of external entity” error.

and I think I fixed the validation issues on single post pages.

Thanks jd.hartley for the suggestion, its much appreciated. I was having some trouble getting my rss feed to work, and after some googling, found it had something to do with the Customizable permalink plugin and/or my webhost (which is Yahoo!). After disabling the plug in, my rss feed worked, however now no pretty permalinks )= It’s been some time since I’ve looked for another fix, as I would much rather use the customizable permalinks, so I will look into it again and see what I can find (perhaps another webhost!).

also, upon adding some posts I’ve discovered my single post pages do not validate and am looking into that as well.
